Amy Whitelaw recently changed roles from a transition manger to a transition strategist in the Transition Services Group. She is responsible for advising clients on potential transition activity and developing the transition product. Prior to joining transition services, she was an equity trader responsible for trade execution in the 50 international markets in which BGI invests for US-based assets under management. Prior to joining BGI in August of 1998, Amy worked in the institutional derivatives department at Goldman, Sachs and Co.
Amy holds series 3 and 7 licenses and has a double major in international studies from Dickinson College, which combined the disciplines of economics, political science, and history, and French. She spends much of her spare time with her young daughter to teach her the virtues of active index investing.
